About Emily

I help people raise their leadership game, navigate career transitions and enjoy greater well-being in their lives. A former business executive, nonprofit champion, educator, and community leader, I’ve coached folks from all walks of life to tap into what matters and become the leader they want to follow.

Previously, I held leadership positions at Deloitte, AT&T, and Fannie Mae. From executive communications, to public relations, and corporate philanthropy, I’ve served as spokesperson, partnership builder and change maker, empowering individuals, building organizations, and strengthening communities.

I’m a Certified Professional Coach, via the College of Executive Coaching’s ICF-accredited program, and completed Coach Approach and leadership training while at Deloitte.

I continue to give back to my community and strengthen organizations’ ability to serve others, including ICF-DC’s Pro Bono Committee, HR Alliance DC’s Membership Committee, Washington Networking Group (WNG)’s Interim Leadership Team, and Career Development Steering Committee. I enjoy being a Leadership Coach for Women In Government Relations (WGR).

WHY DID I BECOME A COACH?

I've probably walked in your shoes. I've changed careers and embraced new roles, in organizations of all sizes, and across all sectors. I personally know how daunting change can be, in order to pursue a more fulfilling life.

WHY do i love being A COACH?

I believe we rarely succeed alone. We need trusted others to fill in the gaps and have our backs when we feel most discouraged. Without the help of proactive mentors and caring coaches, I would never have experienced the kind of success and life joy that has been my truly good fortune. Now it's my turn to give back.

I look forward to speaking with you!
